An evening of French chansons in the unconventional setting of the Tatra Truck Museum will reveal both the energetic and intimate sides of this timeless genre, performed by Sylvie Bee & Band. The Ostrava-based chanson singer Sylvie Bee, winner of the International Competition for the Interpretation of Francophone Song in Split, is one of the most distinctive figures on the contemporary Czech chanson scene. Her performances combine theatrical expressiveness, emotional depth, and infectious musical vitality.

Together with her band – Adrian Ševeček, Rudy Horváth, Petr Moczek, and Václav Kramář – she brings classic and modern chansons to life with a unique blend of passion and refinement. Sylvie Bee has also been involved in a number of notable collaborations, including work with Vladivojna La Chia and the French chansonnier Joël Bros.

This concert presents chanson as a genre rich in stories, emotions, and inner fire – music that can be fragile yet fierce, melancholic yet joyfully exuberant. The evening promises an authentic experience where French esprit meets a distinctive Czech temperament.
