The Advent concert at the Oratory of the Brethren Church in Horní Suchá will offer both a festive and introspective view of Christmas music, performed by the Czech Philharmonic Low Brass Ensemble. The six outstanding musicians, led by trombonist Robert Kozánek, will present the program Once Upon a Christmas, blending Baroque sacred tradition, Czech Christmas carols, and the gentle nostalgia of the 19th and 20th centuries. The velvety sound of low brass gives familiar melodies a new dimension—majestic yet warmly human—creating an atmosphere of peace, light, and Advent stillness.
