The flute and harpsichord – two instruments whose dialogue combines lightness, elegance, and breathtaking virtuosity. Jan Ostrý, one of the most acclaimed Czech flutists, together with the outstanding harpsichordist Monika Knoblochová, will take audiences on a musical journey through the works of the great Baroque masters. The programme brings together the German and French traditions, offering a rich palette of moods, from graceful dance rhythms to contemplative lyricism. Bach’s compositional ingenuity, the expressive diversity of his son’s works, and the refinement of the French masters will come to life in the hands of two distinguished figures of the Czech music scene.
