Program: “About the Fourth Wise Man”
(Advent concert of the Folk Instrument Orchestra and the VUS Ondráš Girls’ Choir)

The musical cycle tells the story of the great wait for the birth of Jesus Christ during the four Advent Sundays. A wandering pilgrim – the fourth wise man – experiences the Christmas message in the form of a parable. The music by Jiří Mottl and Jan Rokyta is inspired by Czech and Moravian, mainly Advent songs. The libretto is based on the book of the same name by Henry van Dyck and the direction is by Hana Achilles.
