The concert in the Knight’s Hall of Frýdek Castle will offer an exceptional meeting of two outstanding harpists – Jana Boušková and Minja Stojanović. Jana Boušková belongs to the absolute world elite of her field and is admired for her technical brilliance, refined tone, and extraordinary depth of expression. The Serbian harpist Minja Stojanović represents a distinctive voice of the young generation, gaining attention for her energy and musicality. Their joint program presents new perspectives on masterpieces of Czech music. In arrangements for two harps, the program will feature selections from Smetana’s Má vlast – Vyšehrad, Vltava, and Šárka – as well as Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances. The well-known orchestral colors are transformed here into a delicate, transparent, and surprisingly rich sonic landscape created by two instruments. The evening will present music as a dialogue – virtuosic, colorful, and deeply poetic.
